not counting shirin since everyone saw worlds apart before campodia filmed, i think everyone who returned the season right after theirs made it at least to merge. i think rizo likely makes it farther since he is the more social player, and that tends to matter a lot in returning seasons where people have pre-existing connections and you need the social ability to bend and break them

Yeah players who return the next season without their original season having aired fully are usually very successful. Rupert made a deep run on All-Stars, Amanda made it to FTC on Micronesia, Russell made it to FTC on HvV, Michaela did well on Game-Changers, etc. I believe the two who didn’t do particularly well were Malcolm on Caramoan and Zeke on Game-Changers, but they still both made the merge. I really think it’s a huge advantage, especially for Rizo since he can easily seem unthreatening

A winner has never played as an unknown entity though. And according to Savannah’s post-season interviews, she found out before 50 that people on the cast already knew she won.

Usually it doesn’t matter if they’re a winner or not BECAUSE they’re an unknown entity lol sometimes the player didn’t even know if they won their OG season, though I don’t think Savannah will make it far anyway on 50. I think she’ll be a pre-merge boot. But I think being unknown is like the best case scenario for Rizo and puts him in a position where he has a great chance to win. I mainly think it’s beneficial for Rizo because he can easily hide his strategy behind his personality when needed
