Would have been a good call if Sav was still in the game but since she wasn’t, I don’t get the point of hiding their relationship

He more than likely told his original tribemates that he and Sav weren’t very close. I know they coordinated a fake story in advance and Sav told her tribe that they weren’t close, so I assume Rizgod said the same thing. And he can’t change his story partway through the game, it has to be consistent or else everyone else would get really suspicious of him. He had to choose a story and stick with it
