then why is he putting jfk jr, someone against my life saving medication and vaccines, into power? and why is he allowing billionaires and their companies to not pay living wages, making so many people suffer from poverty, homelessness, starvation, etc? why is he allowing pharmaceutical companies to charge unaffordable prices for life saving treatments and drugs such as insulin, antibiotics, and more? if he didn’t want me to die, why is he allowing me to be killed by things under his control

I want you to take a deep breath for a moment and understand something. You’re not being killed by minimum wage laws. Trumps economic policy is not designed to kill you, or people like you. Why doesn’t he hike wages? Because the government doesn’t actually have that much power over wages, and if he uniformly raised minimum wage to a “living wage.” Which is a hopelessly vague term. All it would do is create more unemployment.

And Trump has taken multiple steps to radically lower the prices of everything from insulin to epi pens. The fact is that you have to find some compromise between availability, quality and cost. The us chooses widely available high quality healthcare, is the system perfect? No. Is it specifically designed to kill you? No, hell no, that’s deranged.

As for RFK. Fk I don’t know, I don’t think that was a good appointment. But a mistake in appointing HHS head =\= actively trying to kill you, or anyone like you. I will repeat, Trump and his cabinet do not want you dead. They want you happy healthy and wealthy, you just disagree with them on the best way to achieve that. And that’s ok. You have the right to think the government should fix insulin prices at 1$ and raise the minimum wage to 50$ an hr.

There is more than one school of thought on how to achieve the same end. What you’re doing is seeing someone disagreeing with you on how to get to a better future, and concluding that they not only don’t want you to succeed, they want you to die. I will repeat, that’s the kind of thinking that leads to political violence. That kind of thinking actually leads to people dying.

buddy, i will die if i can’t afford/ can’t access my prescriptions or doctors visits. the only reason i can even afford them now is because im under 26. i’m actively threatened with homelessness right now because no one wants to hire my disabled ass. there are in between 18k-47k deaths from homelessness yearly and i live somewhere with horrible winters and summers. homeless shelters are constantly closing due to federal budget cuts. are you blind to why this is happening or just choose ignorance

If you are legitimately too disabled to work there are programs that can and will get you the meds you need. Even pharmaceutical companies have something called PAPs for people who cannot afford their drugs. (Google “name of drug you need PAP” and see if there’s something that can help you.). There are also federal and state programs for the severely disabled. Those deaths “from homelessness”. Are overwhelmingly substance abuse related, if you aren’t doing heroin you’re probably fine.

And there are literally hundreds of equal opportunity employers across the country, if you’re physically able to work you can get a job. If you’re physically or mentally unfit to work there are both federal and state programs to help you. Trump hasn’t cut those for a reason, and he will not cut those. Even if he gets rid of some federal programs that’s just because there are state programs that do the same thing.
