General on Sidechat | genuine advice pls. my almost 1 yr old cat i got from the shelter never learned how to chew dry food and he always throws it up in full chunks bc he’s just swallowing it. a slow feeder is on the way. but does anyone have any experience w this ??

honestly I'd check if he has anything wrong with his teeth. I feel like chewing is pretty instinctual so it's possible that he's deliberately avoiding it due to pain

or possibly a nice mama cat that i can keep for a week to teach this mf😣 he doesn’t have a cat mom… there’s only so much a human mom can do
