even if she did “consent” you can not give valid consent while drunk. thats RAPE. she was obviously very traumatized and did not speak to a professional in interviewing people in situations like hers. she was also hungover from the drinks and ket hello??? obviously the original story is going to be fuzzy ong we need to drag people like you behind cars 🙏
lmao im sorry this hurt your feelings so much rape supporter. i think its insanely funny in a very pathetic way that you’re so confident about being wrong. you can change your statement at any time and it makes sense that she would not initially remember the events of the night correctly. this does in fact hold in court
i didnt ask you silly, i said marx prlly wouldve. there is indeed no exact statistic, nor could their rlly be bc for a plethora of safety concerns. however, while i dont know a single soul who can name 7 trans athletes, i lost count of how many know or have been victimized by a perpetrator of SA. that’s the point of the post, and i feel like you understood that so thats why im joshing ya
aint no harm in asking for a source🤷♀️ tho the insistence on a question you already knew the answer to came off as waiting for a gotcha moment from an outsider perspective tbh, and the defeatist “yall are cooked” kinda reinforced that. your intentions couldve been cleared by a simple question tho n i dont think its fair for you to be as antagonized as you’ve been
I didn’t keep insisting on any question, and I did not know the answer! That’s is why I asked :) If you interpreted me saying that I agree with the point as me being an outsider that is on you. Me being annoyed that fellow leftists are pissy about me asking a source, and you interpreting it that way is also on you. I’ll be antagonized as I want to when people who should be my allies get mad at me for wanting a source thank you very much. In short- making assumptions makes an ass out of u
the first links on google regarding trans NCAA athletes is a journal post that mentioned the “less than 10 trans people in sports” as well as the factcheck that refutes it. if u searched it then u definitely must’ve seen it, which is where the presumption came from. considering you mentioned already searching it, that conclusion doesnt seem that out there (tho i dont agree w it)
with that said, ur last comment is absolutely valid. everyone presumes the worst of eachother these days and all of us have some work to do in regards to that. i also didnt intend to make an unnecessary enemy out of you if that’s how you perceive my comments, i just found how you were getting downvoted with nobody starting conversation around it absurd (and the switchup is also crazy).
but to actually give u an answer: this post is based off of the frequency of people encountering these two issues*. with trans people being less than 1% of the population (let alone athletes) and 1 in 14 men being offenders (NSVRC), which would u be more likely to encounter on a campus?
the post is rhetorical which we've already concluded, and if your frustration is with the loose use of the word "fact" then alright, but i just illustrated how the math necessary to verify the fact that ur more likely to encounter one vs the other... that wasnt a hypothetical, you'd statistically be more likely to encounter an offender on a single campus than a t-college athlete period. thats the base.
well, now i must ask after all this yapping, what do you take away from not having what you consider to be a source? was your strife with the use of the word “fact?” your initial question was “what’s is this based off of,” to which i used the NSVRC, NCAA and the 2025 census to answer. the t-athlete stat cant be verified to the degree you seek, but do u find the extent to which it can insufficient?
