The masses are completely contained within the testicle, so we’re actually lucky to have found it at all and it’s hard to tell what it is. I came in about a lump that turned out to be a varicose vein, but reviewing the ultrasound they found two masses. This was a review of my follow up ultrasound and there was no progression in three weeks, so I’m most likely fine. They are going to do one last ultrasound in August to see if it’s changed. If not they’re confident labeling it a benign growth.

It doesn’t hurt and isn’t all that noticeable. I had a vasectomy, apparently they are a common side effect.

Alternatively, when you’ve finished reproducing you should get a vasectomy so the woman(or women) in your life can live free of the shackles of birth control. Ultimately your choice but the procedure wasn’t bad, the recovery was totally manageable, and I literally never have to worry about an accident. Cream pie til I die 🥰

Fwiw the vein is on the underside of my right testicle and I never even noticed it until someone I know got cancer and told me to start checking. You can’t see it and can only feel it if you’re doing a real inspection
