Some of the comments in here are so wholesome. Religion is 100% a driver of both insanity and excuses. Who kills people all bc they believe their “God” has granted them such a right? To persecute, to enslave, to exploit… Religious people can be really wonderful, but they always use it as an excuse to justify bad behavior. The best people I’ve met in my life have been those who are either non-religious or question faith.
Unfortunately the human brain MUST make some generalizations everyday. Even you don’t judge everyone as an individual. You assumed simply because of his name he is Muslim. How prejudiced, judging a religion by someone’s name. He’s actually a Christian from Lebanon. Nice try though
You’re saying that and I agree that they shouldn’t focus on one aspect, however, you assumed the hero in this case Muslim and you were wrong. I suggest you follow your own advice and do more research before you try to play the moral high ground as you did. That being said there is a trend of Muslims committing terror attacks on foreign soil that you cannot ignore and that is what people are concerned about.
why do you deny history? it’s not me that’s lying, i have no allegiance to any of these religions. but i think hypocrisy for the sake of racism and persecution should be condemned. christianity has taken more lives than any religion in history. we are seeing a televised genocide being carried out by jews in israel right now. islam also has blood on its hands but it is unfair to say that it is a problem unique to that religion.
I understand that. Point of making this was to show demonizing groups makes 0 sense. A Muslim man also saved the day so the rhetoric falls apart for the islamophobes. Because their bigotry shines through. If they’re ready to hate because of one man’s actions why can’t they praise because of one man’s actions as well
