Nursing students in the chat I have a question: why do I bruise almost everytime I get an IV? I got one the 5th for dehydration and it’s still tender 😭

Oh so it’s always me 😭 they always have me out the pressure on but most of the time I’m still a little weak 😭

I know this one went in at kind of a diagonal but idk if that would do anything w bruising, I do still have a bump where it got inserted but that’s normal, I have a few scars on that arm 😭
