Like admittedly i overstepped at the beginning. I put my nose where it didnt totally belong and thats my fault. Where it became nasty was when, after i had already apologized, they accused me of a bunch of shit and insulted me. Again, i apologized, but they launched into hypotheticals and kept accusing me of things.

Maybe they had a shit day or something because normally weve navigated other disagreements much more civilly. It kinda came out of nowhere that they reacted this explosively and then kept doubling down when i apologized
