If you really commit to the process of therapy you can overcome a lot of conditions. I was able to beat MDD, PTSD, and generalized anxiety disorder through intense cognitive behavioral therapy. It’s just gonna take a lot of very difficult introspective sessions

I’ve been struggling with this a lot recently, especially with the recent discovery I might have a depressive disorder. I’m 20 now, and that major milestone is causing a general quarter-life crisis, but mostly focused on the fear and a weird amount of shame around the idea of remaining mentally ill all the way to old age. It’s hard, it’s tiring, it’s terrifying, but I can tell you that you won’t have to go through it alone.

You’ll eventually get to the point where you’ve figured out how to live with it with minimal pain, whether you get there with medication or without it, it’ll eventually become just a part of life that you’ll enjoy living
