Just so you all know, I have attention deficit myself. I don’t go around being rude or interrupting people, or acting out like a fool. I feel I’ve grown out of it, but I am aware some parts of it still linger. Again, I grew up. And again, putting away my soapbox.

Whoever disliked this is a loser. I have heavy ADHD, Ive never been medicated, I have two jobs, volunteer and go to college and have an LLC and got a 1560 SAT in highschool. ADHD means it’s harder, not impossible and certainly not less important to do. I agree, you mfs need to lock in.

Definitely agree. I don’t have ADHD but I’m starting to feel like I am developing symptoms of it. Of course, I’m not trying to be like those people on TikTok who self-diagnose themselves lol (thank God I don’t have TikTok), but I certainly am a bit concerned over my cognitive. And while I am smart, I am definitely not as smart as you and #2 lol

I have really bad ADHD and I absolutely agree with him. Ive succeeded in everything Ive ever done in my entire life without a single exception. ADHD makes things harder for me, not impossible. Also people with ADHD will have it their whole life, if you’re incapable to succeed now, you will always be. At a certain point one need to just fucking get shit done.

Hey, downvote guy here. The exact same shit here. I’m in a (PSYCHOLOGY) Masters Program and am the manager at my job. 1400 on SATS and valedictorian of my HS. Completely unmedicated as well. ADHD is different for everyone who experiences it and to just say “lock in” is the most insensitive and ableist shit you could possibly do.

You didn’t get valedictorian if you had a 1400, ours had a 1600. Drop your highschool and year do proof and I’ll admit im wrong.

Im a special Olympics baskeball coach and im going to USA games in Reno for bowling in a week. Stop making words like ableist lose their meaning. Also ADHD varies but it’s all on a spectrum of disregulation and forgetfulness which is very lock inable. I have the worst of it lol.

Oh so ADHD doesn’t count as a disability then? I got you, you’ve had it the worst according to only yourself, so you’re an authority. I’ve worked with countless ADHD, autistic, and neurodivergent people. Ableist means “the discrimination of and social prejudice against people with disabilities based on the belief that typical abilities are superior.” What you’re saying is that since you can do it, they should be able to as well. THATS FUCKING ABLEISM

To say it can only come from outside the nuerodivergent or disabled community is just ignorant because I’ve seen that shit almost daily for my entire college career.

What Im saying is that ADHD can be tested and measured and I can say wirh absolute certainty I have it just as bad as anyone. What I am saying is theres a difference between explanations and excuses. ADHD can make behavior and emotional regulation more difficult, but that doesnt mean impossible and difficulty does not negate necessity. Being mad doesn’t make you upset. At a certain point your actions are up to you.

Also when did I discriminate and say certain people are better, thats actually what you’re saying. Im saying “someone with ADHD might have a harder time but they can succeed all the same.” Also I don’t hold prejudice twin, I volunteer with people with special needs. I could drop my insta and youd see like three person friends with special needs. Being mad doesnt make you right Z
