AI is literally ruining academia. The ones who use it are making themselves stupid and the ones who don’t are also being made stupid because they’re not allowed to be naturally smart anymore without an accusation

I usually put a small crashout in it so they know its the genuine article and not some slop. For an eco science class I said the monkeys from penguins of madagascar couldve built a better nuclear reactor than the russians and I got a message from my prof saying he liked my paper

literally. like what’s the solution?? if we give shitty work, they complain it’s not ‘college level’. but if we give them solid work, it’s “too perfect” so it must be AI generated… like wtf do y’all want??
