I don’t have a “don’t tread on me” flag but I agree with the message as one who HAS been treated on every day. I’m left leaning but left or right it shouldn’t matter, everyone should agree that tyranny is bad

Hard disagree sorry. I feel like this is just ceding the gasden flag to the far right when it’s such a potent symbol that (certainly under current circumstances) is really applicable to leftist causes.

This is ironically even more ignorant than what you’re claiming. One doesn’t have to be treaded on in order to not want to be treaded on.
You wouldn’t consider a straight person waving a gay flag to be an ignorant bigot just because they aren’t gay themselves, would you?

Haha seriously, look at these ignorant bigots. Women and LGBTQ+ have NEVER been treaded on, you’re so right!

they might be the only class of people unencumbered by our government. maybe some of them are poor or veterans and therefore have been treaded on? like idk, otherwise it's a bunch of nonsense

It’s not supposed to be partisan or anything, it just represents forceful opposition to tyranny. The snake represents the people, and the flag is a warning to the government; if you step on the snake you will get bit.
