I always hated doing this anyways bc it feels so gross, I don’t know why. I hate brushing right after eating.

It depends on what you eat. If it’s an acidic food or drink you should let the plaque over take it and neutralize it (about 30 minutes) if it’s non acidic then you can brush your teeth and it’ll be fine.
