I just hate when they don’t let them wear braids or their natural bc of that “untamed” and “unkept” tag that’s not true. If it’s shaped then it’s neat and meant to be that way. If it’s matted then you could argue it’s unkept but braids aren’t unprofessional if anything it’s “neat” like yall want it. Straighten our hair damages it.

Ngl, I’m not black and neither is my fiance but we both have naturally veryyy curly hair and I’ve already had a talk with him that when we do decide to have children we’ll be taking a class to learn how to manage our children’s hair because neither of us really learned how and kinda just wing it honestly but I would’ve liked if my parents had taught me how to style my hair better when I was younger tbh

Heavy on this or just textured hair in general. I always assumed my hair was naturally frizzy but turns out when you put the proper products on it there’s little to no frizz in sight.
