That is a horrible take. If men didn’t make good art, why didn’t we see her at the halftime show or see her win ever elligable award she can get at the Grammys?

Artist a getting more awards than artist b doesn’t make a a better artist than b. Aside from that though yeah this is a dogshit take and I’m disappointed in her for that

Ok after looking into it a bit more, it seems much less likely that she’s literally saying that men don’t make good art and instead that she personally is no longer interested in art made by men. Men’s art is praised far more and scrutinized far less than women’s art, often leading to men having a tendency to create less impressive art since they don’t have to work as hard. Men obviously do still create amazing art, but it’s valid to not be personally interested in a lot of it compared to-
