Last time I checked the IDF has killed like 80,000 people in Gaza. Including women and children (most were babies) since 2023. And you're calling ME "evil?"

Last I checked citizens being forced to commit horrors by an oppressive government is insanely depressing and not a good judgement of the populous but instead the government that controls them. Are there people happily signing up to do evils on purpose and should be punished? Hell yeah. But does everyone who’s forced to be there and most do nothing but mop barracks and drive food in a truck from base to base deserve anything? No

exemptions from idf service are *notoriously* common and easy to obtain. regardless, i would rather serve a few months in jail than be an active participant in genocide, murder, rape, molestation, theft, expulsion, torture, etc etc etc.. this is a clear choice for any morally upright person

They’re only easy if your has money. And again it’s not just jail time, but makes it near impossible for future employment and a huge social no no which gets your family shunned too. Does this mean all idf soldiers are innocent? Of course not! But are the victims of a violent oppressive government’s forced conscription as equal to blame as the government officials creating the system and the individuals abusing it to do the interpersonal evils? You’re pretty fucking stupid if you say yes

i don't agree with executions and never said any such thing. i strictly reject all forms of execution and death penalties. frankly i don't claim to know what the reasonable punishment is, but your twist on "just following orders" won't work when it all comes to a close

So you came into the comment section of a post to have a completely different conversation then? Bc I didn’t say just following orders. I said saying all idf soldiers deserve to die simply for being in the idf is just a genocide of Israelis, since all citizens are required to serve, and the ones who end up having to often have no other choice and rarely even see combat. People who did nothing wrong other than be idf soldiers under name only shouldn’t be killed. That’s my only claim here
