His birth place isn’t getting bombed as far as I know. There were nearby airstrikes, but not even close to what we see on the Gaza Strip.

Yes kind of but also muslims spit on Christians, desecrate their heritage, and see them as fundamentally inferior beings as a matter of doctrine (this is all in the quran btw). Not exactly a dynamic suitable to fostering a pleasant and peaceful coexistence.
