Just offering a piece of advice. If eternal life is offered I’d imagine it would be best to heed such advice, so I would definitely say it would be needed to be a Christian

This is not the type of advice that’s relevant at all to this post. Not everyone believes in eternal life either, and other religions do also have their own forms of it anyway, so being a Christian isn’t needed for that. And it’s also not a requirement to have a good life either
