
Norther states are far richer, and have far better education systems, leading to the idea that southerners are poor ignorant hicks. Not true, and not fair. At the same time, the South tends to vote red out of loyalty to the party or true belief, which has disastrous effects for the environment and minorities. Grouping all southern states together as lesser because of classism, racism, and a very understandable grudge due to voting hurts minorities of all kinds in the south as well as north. i knew all this which is why i said what i said. historically our politicians intentionally kept us poor and uneducated so they could prevent us (mainly laborers) from asking abt higher wages and better regulations. the gov will do anything to keep us divided and to keep stuffing money in their pockets.
