Call me a hater or whatever but I HATE when people overuse “overstimulated” it just pisses me off. I’m sure 99% of the time they’re overwhelmed and not overstimulated but it’s a fun buzz word now so it’s being misused

Or when people say they’re “depressed” when one bad thing happens to them that they’ll be over in a week but not actually depressed

That and “my adhd” or “my ocd” when it’s a temporary basis and not something that impacts their daily life

I mean thats not technically wrong to say. Being depressed is a behavior that can happen to anyone, chronic depression is a disorder. Its like having joint pain from working out vs having arthritis. Both are technically joint pain, but the cause is very different
