I would also love to teach real history!! Maybe even something other than the revolutionary war eight times over!! Also the left is a pretty broad term babe! Like agree that we shouldn’t sugarcoat, and we should teach revolutions as bloody and true, but also I find it annoying that the post is only focusing on the truths that agree with their position and not ALL truths, yanno?

Sean McMeekin writes good, politically neutral books about the Russian Revolution and even soviet politics during WW2. Both are extremely good books with valid sources listed under every paragraph as well, it completely changes your perspective on things, especially the FDR administration.
