Except most conservatives DONT respect others. They hate LGBTQ, people not white, immigrants, anyone who doesn’t agree with them, etc. it’s hard to preach respect when such a large group DOESNT to the point where it’s endangering and hurting people.

As a democrat, this black and white thinking a lot of leftists have towards people who aren’t democrats is pushing people away from voting democrat. This comment in itself is why no one takes a lot of us seriously. If you truly cared about getting “evil conservatives” out of office, you would spend more time having open and respect dialogue with people who you don’t agree with. Virtue signaling and acting as if you’re morally superior will get you nowhere. That in itself is cringe and tacky.
