I’m curious on why you think everything tastes the same

my diet has been relatively boring as of late it’s usually some variety of a yogurt bowl, protein shake, raspberries, and whatever I can consume along with white rice. Ig I meant eating has become so unenjoyable that the taste doesn’t register anymore

Yeah ok that’s fair Do you think you have an eating disorder or something? Or is it just a diet for health reasons that is unsatisfactory?

More I’m too lazy and uninterested to cook in general (I’ve always been like that) so I end up eating like a stray cat. If anything my eating has gotten better since I’ve been home, I used to eat like one meal a day during the semester since I was stuck in a dorm

Ah ok, I feel you I currently only eat one meal a day (likely eating disorder, looking into it) but also I don’t care about food that much in general and don’t get bored with anything really, it’s just sustenance I’m always intrigued to hear other perspectives though Hope you find a good way of making it more interesting/palatable though!

There’s different types, I don’t want to straight up diagnose since I’m not a doctor obv, but I’ve researched it because of my eating problems and forgetting/not getting hungry (I do both) are both common signs of ARFID Idk for sure and want to actually talk to someone about it, the forgetfulness could be an adhd or ocd thing, but not really the straight up no hunger cues part I genuinely have to remember to feed myself most of the time unless I actually feel my stomach growling or getting tight

…Is it bad to say this is me with sleeping too? like if I’m like painfully tired then I’ll obvi sleep but most nights I have to force myself and if not I will pull an all nighter but I don’t end up actually tired or groggy the following morning and for most of the day. Plus when I do sleep for 8+ hours my sleep quality ends up shit idk if it’s depression or smth else sinister 😭😭

I don’t get that bad with the sleeping but I just don’t like sleeping honestly, I’ve never actually pulled an all nighter tho

and I’m not a caffeine drinker (It’s literally a 50/50 on wether I’ll end up unbearably hungry afterwards or weirdly exhausted)
