They actually made a documentary about it, and the Duffer brothers deadass just would not give the crew a script to work from. Obviously it’s probably difficult, but it seemed like they were just done with Stranger Things. When they got into Stranger Things, they actually expressed how they didn’t like writing and really just wanted to direct. Of course, I haven’t watched anything past season one so… ._.

my single favorite piece of media i’ve ever consumed is an UNFINISHED fanfic series. the Duffer brothers have taught me to be grateful the original author never got the opportunity to ruin that
