Fr, like Charlie was never arrested and sent to jail for his beliefs (mlk’s were racial equality). The only similarity is the way that they died

Bro had a larger funeral service than MLK, and for some he was their version of that (in impact). To be CLEAR, MLK is a MUCH more important leader and his movement was much greater, but why does that mean you have to belittle someone else’s? Can we not acknowledge that he was one of then greatest ever, and using his great example to recognize others in the future with similar impacts?

The only comparison that is valid is that they are both politically important persons who are not public servants who were assassinated. Ergot, they were private citizens, and these type of assassinations are not very common in America.

Government agencies (including the FBI) conspired to kill MLK. There is zero similarity between Kirk’s death and MLKs.

also charlie said 💀 he doesn’t condone the killing of people every year by the right to have a gun. who isnt against the killing of innocent people? psychos

My opinion on Kirk shifted quite a bit when I found out he was in favor of a debt jubilee, one of the MOST Marxist-Leninist positions to have.

martin changed literally the entire country whether they wanted it to happen or not, charlie held debates. his funeral being larger doesn’t mean anything except that his family used his passing for profit🤣

I could easily argue he did the same, but once again if seems you don’t care. As usual, making jokes about the man’s death or the outpouring of support is disgusting and you should be ashamed. I remember a good few who did the same over MLK, must be nice to be apart of that club huh?

Ya so was Sadam Hussein’s. His was bigger than Kirk’s funeral as well as MLKs and yet no one on earth would say Sadam influenced peoples opinions on social issues more than MLK did. And also I didn’t decide it, historians and researchers did.

Yo, that has no comparison to what we’re talking about. Both Kirk and MLK were influential leaders of their time, and had a MASSIVE impact. I literally said TO START that I don’t think he had a bigger impact than MLK, but using that as an excuse to belittle or nullify his impact is WRONG .

Comparing Kirk to MLK in any way is far more disrespectful and wrong than saying MLK had a much greater impact than Kirk. Especially since Kirk stood against everything MLK stood for (Kirk wanted to repeal the civil rights act). If you want to compare Kirk’s impact compare it to another conservative because all comparing him to MLK does is make it seem like Kirk has triumphed over MLK and that MLK’s ideas were wrong (because again Kirk stood against everything MLK stood for).

And there we go, you admit you know nothing about the man by spitting out the same out of context garbage that you’re told. Comparing ANYONE to MLK is a compliment above anything else (as it should be), and you cosplaying some “virtuous hero” who’s defending his honor because others see him as the gold standard to compare to is just childish.

MLK was a socialist who believed in racial equity. Charlie Kirk was a billionaire funded conman spewing racial agitation propaganda to cause the working class to fight against one another. You’re just a gullible idiot who got conned. Comparing MLK to his oppressors is psychotic and pathetic.

“Comparing MLK is compliment above anything else” but Charlie Kirk wouldn’t have even wanted to be compared to him and would’ve considered it an insult 😐

I’d literally never heard of him before he got shot (not being facetious) but MLK has an entire day. MLK gave a speech at the Lincoln Memorial to an estimated 250k+ people in attendance plus the millions of people watching him live on their TVs. Kirk went to college campuses and had debates with random students and posts compilations of him Owning The Libs. Come on now.

That’s honestly all I’m really pointing out here. People are just spiteful because it’s Charlie Kirk, and want to be hateful. I GET the idea of seeing it as demeaning to compare him to MLK if u don’t like him, but it’s not at all being used in that context so they’re just mad

Assassination means the motivation has to be political. Like a private attack to kill someone with political motivation (it also might count for someone high ranking in an organization like the pope or something, especially if the country is a theocracy)
