OP, from everything you have said in the comments, your GF is physically, sexually, and emotionally abusive to you, while trying to isolate you from friends and family, and trying to control your life and decisions to make you feel more dependent on her to make you stay. No matter what she says, she does not love you; no one who would love you would put you through what she did. Listen to me very closely when I say this: Run the hell away from her and NEVER look back.

When we argue she grabs my hair and holds me against the wall until I apologize. She eats me out while I’m sleeping even though I’ve told her I don’t like that. She tells me a lot if I leave her she’ll k herself. She’s moved us two states away, away from all my friends and family. I have to make excuses for just chatting with even like cashiers at grocery stores, because she gets jealous easily. She tells me I dress too much like a “slut” and got rid of all my cute clothes and dressed while

I was at work. She goes thru my phone 24/7 and 9 times out of 10 finds something innocent she takes as “cheating” and we have screaming fights over it. Just all we seem to do is fight but I’m always on the losing side.

Idk if this is just the normal toxic college relationship or something worse.

There is no amount of “normal” toxicity you need to get law enforcement involved

I’m not out to my parents yet so I can’t really go home to get away from her and she dangles that over my head a lot. I want to break up with her but I don’t really know what to do.

I understand going back to your parents is scary if you’re not out to them and don’t know how they’d react. My advice is to see if you can go to a women’s shelter for the time being until you can ascertain if it’s safe for you to move back home. If your parents accept things when you come out to them, then you’re in the clear. If not, you’re in a safe place away from your GF, with some space to think, get help, and find a safe, permanent living situation.

Thanks for your kind words. Tbh I’m not really sure where to go from here. I got a lot of info and had my eyes open to some things here and right now I’m just kinda paralyzed.

Priority one is making sure that you have 3 things done: 1. Have your finances in order, and make sure she can’t access any of them. 2. Figure out the nearest shelter or place you can go for safety. 3. Pack a bug-out bag‘s worth of outfits and toiletries (in separate drawers, and discreetly) so that you can gather your things easily if you have to get out fast. It‘s a lot of information and feelings to process. Take things one step at a time.

It’s just that she’s not like this all the time. We’ve been together almost two years and she was the legitimately the most wonderful person I’d ever met. I thought she might be abusive but I didn’t know and I just wish someone had told me I’m just being dramatic.

4. Make sure you have all your important documents and electronics ready to go as well. Change your passwords on your important accounts if she’s ever had access to them, or ever had them disclosed to her.
