It does patronize minorities. He got where he is because he’s capable. He didn’t need DEI to get his position. It is not equality to attempt to justify every wrong doing of the past. Clarence Thomas believes in equality for all and earning things on the basis of merit / hard work. He is an example that firmly proves that merit will get you far in life. We cannot attempt to justify every wrong and injustice of the past in the present, this is Silly. If you believe that, let me truly ask: 1) How long should we be attempting to even out the playing field? 2) What are the metrics for this?

Find me a source that backs this as factual, and this will call for a real discussion, but until then I plan to side with the individual whose thoughts and platform align with his actions. He has been consistent in rulings since his nomination to the court. Thomas was raised in segregated Georgia and defied the odds to attend Yale Law School. This man is the definition of merit and consistency. You’re a child if you believe that he is corrupt just because he disagrees with your pion thoughts.
