Well yeah. But it’s on a whole other level with the ultra wealthy ones. They act with near impunity and they shape the world. It makes you wonder if the reason why sexual abuse is so rampant at all levels has anything to do with their influence on policy and culture

Right, but not all of them can get away with victimizing thousands at a time. Extreme wealth enables that. It also seems to change people’s brain chemistry and wiring in ways science is just beginning to understand

I think it comes off as downplaying the role of extreme wealth, and also making predation at these amounts seem inevitable, which it’s not (I didn’t downvote btw)
