for context, the reason i use the word “interesting” is because i feel like all of these shows like love island and shit make dating appear to be this super deep thing. it’s really not especially in 2025 and if ur young. it is all transactional and shallow. and it’s kind of always been that way tbh we’re just more shameless abt it now
