This is such a one dimensional way of thinking. What’s racist is that ICE is literally targeting people based on the color of their skin, now. Legal citizens are getting detained, because of their skin color. Let that sink in.

I’ll start caring about illegal immigration when we have a functional and well funded system that makes immigration reasonably doable for immigrants. People who say this usually have no idea that legal immigration to the US and citizenship is de facto impossible for most people.

Some certainly do. I’m generally against the idea of that except for wartime circumstances where I’m fine with our country giving war refugees TPS status. But I’m talking about the crazies that want open borders

I don’t have a problem with the people themselves, I have a problem with my tax dollars going to them and that they are a drain on community’s. Before you say our tax dollars don’t go to them, they do. I live in Massachusetts, in my town were SEVERAL state funded hotels where illegal immigrants were given free housing, a monthly stipend, and an iPhone. Do you know how many poor Americans would benefit from that? Why are these people who aren’t citizens getting priority over actual Americans?

On top of that rich company owners(mostly democrats but also republicans) support illegal immigration so much because they can hire them and pay them dirt cheap and they can’t complain about it because what are they going to do? Go to the cops? They are artificially lowering how much Americans are getting paid because “why hire an American? You can just hire an illegal and pay them $2 an hour. An American would whine and complain and demand $20 an hour”

They drain around $60,000 in tax dollars over their lifetimes. Doesn’t sound like a whole lot right? But when EIGHT MILLION came over the border under Biden, it builds up VERY quickly. Don’t even get me started on what was going on in New York with their asylum laws. Many of the illegal immigrants there were ACTUAL criminals, bringing over gang violence and being let out of jail because of the laws they could take advantage of. I think half of all CVS stores closed since they were being robbed
