People who publicly speak their opinions are just people who talk. People who get killed for speaking their opinions become martyrs. The correct way to fight opinions that you disagree with is to disprove them and use your words, not violence. Killing him only made his followers even more radical. He was a dickhead but shouldn’t have been killed for speaking, regardless of what he was speaking about.

This country has cheered for death for as long as it has existed. This isn’t new. At least this time it wasn’t someone asking for peace— it was someone calling for death. He can rot.

How about his assertion that the deaths of innocent people is preferable to the loss of the right to bear arms? How about his supports of the killing of Palestinian civilians— irregardless of relation to Hamas? He was not a good man. He never was.
