since they normally schedule fillings like a month out & since the son needs fillings on both sides of his mouth it will have to be two separate appointments. the mom got all mad & started saying that he needs to be scheduled asap. & the poor lady said they’d get him scheduled after he’s brought up front bc she needed to get ppl checked in

Ngl this probably just stems from stress of having to take off work to take him and possibly losing income those days combined with how quickly schools are willing to slap a court date on parents for missed days bc the kid forgot to turn the paper in, the office lost it, or they just don’t care

The two separate appointments for opposite sides of the mouth is a bit strange, but… yeah, expecting BUSY places, like dental clinics, to be able to just jot you in whenever is not the way to go about it. It’s unfortunate, but it’s well-known that you likely won’t get something that soon without cancellations. Ugh!

they said two separate appointments if bc the son has a few different cavities & they didn’t want to have to numb his entire mouth at once. but yeah ppls entitlement nowadays is wild

Oh, that makes a little more sense. Sorry, I’m just getting going for the day. But, it really is wild!! I get it, oral pain sucks and you’re concerned, but they’re much more happy and willing to help and try to “squeeze you in” when you’re a lot kinder. 🤦🏻‍♀️

On top of the stress of paying two copays for two appointments now (assuming she has insurance), and two rounds of numbing agents, etc etc. It doesn’t mean she should have treated the woman poorly but it’s not like this shitty behavior came out of now where, and we can reduce the amount of times people act this way by making life less annoying.
