she’s planning all of this publicity bs, I doubt she’s spending much time with her children. it’s shameful. you presume but you aren’t thinking about the time investment required to do all that. if you still disagree, I’m done. because there’s no way her children aren’t crying themselves to sleep while their only parent goes on tour over her husband’s death.
Lmao this is complete speculation, you could not possible know what the family situation is like, even still there’s something to be said about seeing your parents deal with adversity head on and without giving up. I also just don’t believe you would feel the same way if it was someone you believed in. When MLK died his wife took on the role of leading an organization despite the fact they had two young kids and I have never heard any criticism of that decision.
I’m with you on this. If she just went quiet and abandoned his legacy it would be letting the psycho who killed him if not win at least get some of what he wanted. There’s a balancing act between a grieving family and a legacy, some can handle it and some can’t but we can’t judge that from the outside. I find most people who are vocal about the “just go be with your family.” Line really mean “just go shut up because I don’t like your ideas.”
that’s not what DEI is in today’s area though, united Airlines said they wanted 50% of their pilot students to be minorities and women. Keep in mind that we have been in a pilot shortage for years now. That means that they already want anyone any can do to do it, but because of the public statement, it appears as if the standards would be lowered to meet their quota. This can also be seen with the case with American Airlines being sued for discriminatory practices against white pilots
