I feel like a few posts down literally disproves this

Well I read some comments on more than one post of people who switched from republican to democrat and this is exactly what more than 90% of the democrats have said to them.

And whenever I went to vote in my state all the republicans were so kind friendly and greeting but the democrats just sit their with an unwelcome ugly scall on their faces

Lmao wtf is a real life social media post bro. None of this shit is real. Just because it doesn’t support your argument doesn’t mean it’s invalid.

It’s an anonymous social media platform so yes unfortunately to share my opinions I don’t do it on my public social media because I don’t want to lose my job

Saying anything that is generally considered heinous online can cost you your job, regardless of political affiliation

Maybe if y’all stopped being publicly racist and bigoted, you’d stop losing your jobs. You can’t seriously think every boss that fired one of you klan member friends is a Democrat. Y’all are just that genuinely repugnant and it’s ironic that you think you can blame us for that. Get real.

You’d lose your job because your opinions are so unpopular that people don’t want to be associated with you lol

Well obviously I’ve never been fired but I’ve heard of others being fired just for saying that they voted republican. Saying “ I voted red” doesn’t count as racism.

Yes that was necessary because they were celebrating an innocent non criminal person getting assassinated. It’s not like I’m gonna celebrate the death of one of the democrats I don’t like.

What’s considered heinous to you. Like someone forcefully asking someone if they voted blue or red and firing them for either not answering or saying red is insane

Employers shouldn’t have any legal right to fire someone based on who that person voted for

they do, your beliefs aren’t protected. If you believe shifty things, private companies can choose not to associate with you. Anything else you want to cry about?

Which public company is doing this? I work at a federally funded nonprofit, it is a major deal to not speak about politics or take any definitive stands while associated with the org. Protesting, making public statements, or otherwise “promoting” a party/candidate with our org’s name attached is immediate grounds for termination. This is common practice in public service roles. Do and say what you want outside of work, but don’t lead it back to the org/company. These rules are clearly outlined
