Girl math: i bought $200 of nail supplies bc manicures are like $100. So if i don’t go get a manicure for 5 weeks… i come out ahead. 😊😊😊😊 i’m happy but apparently you feel negative about it haha

📣TikTok is a conspiracy to make everything (or at least everything exploitable) about women worse. It’s 4chan for women except run by people who know what they’re doing

“I’m just a girl” is literally just the inverse (and making fun of) “boys will be boys”. Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with the last 2. I’ve never heard the first 3.

I love watching my girlfriend comb her hair without using her brain . I wanted to photograph her doing so like make a insta boomerang story but as soon as I told her I wanted to photograph her she got so self conscious

It doesn’t have to be serious, but it’s also a sign of the way women are viewed and think of their own worth. Two things can be true, yanno? If you joke about being stupid and only valuable for your body, or to a man, that says something

the problem with “I’m just a girl” is that it’s self-infantalizing, in a way that many many misogynists have relied on infantalizing women to block women from work, from government, from being capable individuals, etc. normally, “I’m just a girl” is meant harmlessly, but it contributes to a wider narrative of incapable women who need a male protector

I don’t think that at all. Like I said it’s an excuse inverse to “boys will be boys”. If men are allowed to get away with horrible acts with an excuse of oh they’re just being boys. Then women creating their own to rationalize / justify why they did stuff. I don’t think most people take it seriously.
