Unfortunately your missing the point. This isn’t about political parties. And it shouldn’t matter of what different races did in the past. But if you want to okay that game there have been plenty of small ethnic groups who enslaved white people. Take the Ottoman Empire for example. Slavery is wrong, no matter the masters color, and you’d be a fool to not recognize that

we don’t live in tje Ottoman Empire, we live in the USA. this country has a deep history of racism & systemic discrimination against POC; many of those engines of oppression are either fully or partially intact today. history matters since it’s the basis of the present.

Why do we need dei? Why is it we have to ensure people of color are hired? What ever happened to job qualifications being the only thing? The Rooney rule too, takes away from anyone being hired legitimately just to hit a quota. This isn’t seperate from reality, this is the real world and not a social bubble

Every ethnic group that is alive today enslaved and oppressed others. The Atlantic slave trade was actively fueled and encouraged by African kingdoms that made bank by selling and dehumanizing their own brethren. The Apaches, who led one of the most successful indigenous resistance movements against European colonialism and genocide, engaged in widespread pillage, rape, and murder of other indigenous communities across the Southwest. We can acknowledge that history is ugly without resorting to racist tribalism

Also "white America" doesn't bear the sole responsibility for neofascism. In 2024 Trump received almost half of the Hispanic vote despite being very upfront about how he (and the Heritage Foundation that actually controls him) wanted to implement policies that would damage many Hispanic communities. Over a third of American women want their reproductive rights to be almost completely outlawed (supporting total or near total bans on abortion). People can be brainwashed or stupid regardless of race or gender

the average white person in America today benefits from the past of slavery. the descendants of those tyrants are both fewer and benefit less from their ancestors’ acts, and their cultures aren’t the ones that still suffer from systemic discrimination of entire peoples because of that trade.
