dude what? it’s probably the exact opposite in their mind: they have no problem saying slurs but don’t think it’s right to be hateful and treat people of a certain race as second-class citizens

no. I think a lot of them would define racism by deliberate acts to treat a class of people like shit. their belief is that racism is a misnomer a lot of the time and they don’t support institutional racism. OP is condescending and ill-informed
