Can we agree like universities now suck, and most are money hungry whores. This is not talking abt the staff/ professors, more the administrators who are so out of touch with their constituents.

100%, which is why I will be voting for Tom Tiffany for WI governor. He has pledged to freeze tuition costs. Making it illegal for WI to increase tuition. Then he will introduce lowering it. Join me!

I agree, but I think there's value in higher education. The issue is the cost(which is not a problem worldwide). Affordable education has massive benefits outside of just marketable knowledge like business and engineering. It provides in depth views into humanities, expands on a wide base of knowledge, and provides access to more views on the world.

The one thing NC got right. All NC public universities / colleges can only charge $500 tuition each semester. Obviously they jack up other things like housing or meal plans but you can get around those if you want. Out of state is only $2k tuition.

Im glad as fuck that I dropped out. The exorbitant amount of money spent for glorified high school courses and just to enter the most tumultuous job market burdened by crazy dept is insane to me. The only reason I’d go ack is if my job is paying for it, and it guarantees employment. You know how many people with degrees ive met working my job? Enough to know they got fucked by the university system. Like holy shit.

That's not accurate for masters programs. It might be 500/credit hour honestly.
