Yeah Mandami does ultimately want to abolish capitalism, but he’s not directly perusing that. When he spoke to the DSA he said that “seizing the means of production” was his end goal which is the position the DSA takes.

the DSA is very much a socialist org. the big break from other socialist orgs is not the focus on democracy as a driving force of society but rather the DSA wants to work within the democratic party and a lot of other orgs would rather break with the democratic party and try to start a new workers party
