think of it like libido = you’re hungry. sexual attraction (to a specific person) would be craving a certain food while hungry. if you’re asexual, it’s like being hungry but nothing you have to eat sounds good

like how you can’t control being hungry, you can’t control having a libido. it’s a biological desire for sexual release, but that doesn’t mean i have to be attracted to anyone (which is all asexuality is) 🤷🏽‍♀️
