Honestly i think it should happen sooner rather than later. I think martial law is inevitable at this point; it needs to happen before he installs more incompetent loyalists in the military who will do what he says. As of now, there’s still lots of ambivalence about him within the military and a martial law crackdown would be hindered by political infighting in the military

But if it happens 2 years from now, after more and more generals and servicemen resign either because of their conscience or because they’re pushed and bullied out, then we’re left with a military that is more aligned with this administration’s whims than not. And thats when we’re actually genuinely completely fucked
