If you’re referring to the lack of safe abortions, that hasn’t deterred anyone from aborting in other ways. But anyway I’m referring to people who actively choose to have kids and don’t bother with their future

Like you’re allowed to personally just Not Want Kids, you don’t need some moral high ground to prove it. As long someone isn’t abusing their kid, it is completely okay for them to have the kid and give life to another person, even if it’s not a perfect life. Especially on the college fund part, not everyone can afford to save money and that’s okay! There are other options like community college, scholarships, loans, trades, waiting and saving and going later in life, it’s just not that serious

I’m insinuating that life would be so much easier and better if people bothered to plan out and properly support their children’s lives instead of just giving birth and hoping they magically like their shitty quality of life enough to not kirk themselves.

I agree with the first part! Of course they should do what they can to give their children the best life possible. But to assume that everyone who doesn’t have a perfect life wishes they didn’t have a life is not fair at all

That’s true, but there are thousands of others who are living happy lives now after not having the best upbringing, and telling people not to have kids at all if they’re not in the most ideal situation is unfair. It’s better that they get to live some life than none at all

plan b is only effective for a very brief window after conception (between conception and the date of the next expected period) which is oftentimes too short for people to know/realize. not to mention it's expensive and (in some places) restricted access
