Socialism is how communism is sold to fools. It’s still a small elite nomenklatura living high while oppressing a proletariat harder than any capitalist.

It’s definitely an easier sell to true moderates/liberals. I think society should slowly progress into communism and I believe socialism is the first step in that path.

This is such a bad take. Every capitalist country in the world is socialist to some degree. Medicaid is socialism. Social security is socialism. Socialist policies at their core are just policies that place community or workers over capital owners and banks. Before ww2 tons of Americans were socialists.
