This phrase immediately sends me into fight or flight. Its why i hate being gifted things or being “treated” to nice things, in my experience its just an excuse to treat you like shit later on

I’m always conflicted by that statement because sometimes it’s valid and other times not so much, but if they’ve done so much, then wouldn’t they be more familiar with what upsets you?

the only time i ever use it personally is when someone acts like i do nothing for them and j become ungrateful. do i expect anything in return? no. but i will bring receipts of me actions if u finna act like i do nothing
