To be fair, the government is mainly christian. This is just what christians do when they have nobody to hold them accountable

A win is a win! At the right church, you’ll find Jesus, not people worshipping a politician❤️

I mean, that’s what they want u to think. Which group of ppl are they trying to protect the most by saying any criticism of the country made up of them is hatred of them? You can make fun of Christians all you want but the second you make fun of the Jews then your the worst person in the world

Making fun of people who choose a belief system is different than making fun of people for ethnic traits they can’t control.

I mean you can be born in the Jewish faith but choose not to believe in it.

Do you think you know someone better than they do? If I were to say I’m a buddhist, what’s your proof I’m not?

They aren’t real Christian’s. They say they are to win the Christian vote, it pains me that it works

Right, cause it’s not like assholes have taken advantage of every religion throughout history. It doesn’t reflect the actual religion because they don’t care about it or follow it

I think you can 100% make an argument that christianity is an immoral religion but that’s not the issue. The issue is christians will defend anything any shitty christian does because that’s easier than acknowledging that culturally christianity dismisses and defends bad people in their religion

It doesn’t dismiss it, it just acknowledges that people can change, and encourages people to. In my opinion it does not diminish what they did in the past, and I think they should still be punished to the full extent, but if they change for the better while serving their punishment than why wouldn’t that be a net positive. There are evil people everywhere, and you could say ANY group of people is bad because there are a couple evil people in it

Yes it does. “christian does this thing” “well he’s not a real christian, he doesn’t represent our faith, what he does is separate from us” That all serves to benefit the people who do those evil things because they know they can get away with it. Even the catholic church has a history of hiding and dismissing sexual abuse

Yeah because the heart of Christianity is basically just be a good person. There are tons of bad Christian’s, and I’m arguing they are not following the faith, they just say they are because they want to appear like a certain kind of person. Or they are just idiots. And again you could make this argument about any group, “oh, the Islamic faith is evil because this group of guys treat women like objects”, “oh Stalin was atheist, that must mean all atheists are evil”

There are explicit verses and concepts that christianity promotes that are actively discriminatory but like I said, no matter what a christian does, people like you will pretend they’re not christian which only serves to benefit people who know that information and want to commit evil acts. If I know I can rape a woman and still be revered as a priest or pastor as long as I “accept Christ” then there’s no social consequences within the church

There are verses that promote discrimination because the Bible was written 2,000 years ago🤦‍♂️. Anyone that follows the Bible to the latter is an idiot tbh. And like I am saying, there are a TON of reasonable Christians that believe in punishment, the idea that there are no social consequences is true to some extent, and I think it’s gross, but for the most part it’s not true. Most Christian’s believe in redemption, but only after you go through your punishment

It’s a small percentage of Christian’s though! Especially among modern Christians, it’s a terrible trust but blanket statements are just incorrect. It’s mostly the boomers that you are talking about as well, and they are fucking idiots. Gen Z Christian’s don’t play about that. And you have to think, western society is based on Christian morals and you should be happy that it is. I mean in the Middle East women are treated as subhuman.

Absolutely untrue that it’s mostly just boomers, as plenty of Gen Z people I’ve personally spoken to (which obviously would be anecdotal in this case) have said the opposite Western society is built on a ton of different values from different cultures and religions.

In the US the Secretary of Defense retweets christian churches who say women shouldn’t vote and we install politicians that are implicated in the epstein files where kids accuse them of molesting them and christians don’t take those kids seriously

Sure, first let’s both agree on a term definition so we’re not disagreeing for the sake of confusion. How do you define it?
