a lot of people were caught off guard by project 2025 but they’re not done, it’s really important that people understand what’s happening before it comes

Elaborate on its main points

it denounces no-fault divorce, insists upon ideals of a “natural” family, and what i’ve personally researched the most, aims to do the republican thing and cut social welfare programs and replace them with tax cuts for those nuclear family type structures. these policies will be particularly dangerous for women, low-income people, and members of the LGBTQ+ community for those reasons and more

i do highly suggest you reading the document yourself though, as i’ve barely scratched the surface here. it’s 168 pages of slop and it’s formatted horribly so do with that info what you will. totally up to you to draw your own conclusions

I mean social welfare has destroyed the black family, so I agree with that as someone who’s half black myself. Also I do support “natural” families. Not sure on the “no-fault divorce” though.

i disagree. i think we have some differences in ideology which is okay. the no-fault divorce is definitely detrimental though. it goes hand in hand with the proposed policies trying to discourage women from careerism, instead insisting that their role is to take care of children and make their husband happy. i understand having some more traditional values, but i don’t know that it’s necessary to impose them on a federal level. regardless, i hope i was helpful in spreading some information!

Of course! Definitely helpful! Thanks again. Certainly they shouldn’t enforced it or discourage women from careerism, but instead just solely focus on painting stay-at-home moms in a positive light. The cards will fall where they may.
