General on Sidechat | being gen z i really feel like i missed a rite of passage by not having a flip phone or even one of the ones w a sliding keyboard. i went from ipod nano -> ipod touch -> smartphone. i wish email wasnt so important so i could just carry mp3 + flip phone :(

tbh i’ve thought about going back to a flip-phone (i miss her). You can get different types of phones that can still do some modern things (i have a friend who can text, email, take photos, listen to music- but cannot get social medias)!
