Im not a Republican, but all he did was host a podcast and set up tents to debate college kids. This is why people have been leaning more to the right. You (rightfully) call out Trump and other right wingers for celebrating the deaths of others for their beliefs and then turn around and mimic the behavior yourself. To moderate observers, that shows you care more about your faction than being the true believers of peace.
I’m not on his side he said some pretty messed up things.. but cheering that he’s dead..because you had different views than him .. is just so awful… he was also talking about gun violence when he was shot.. the whole situation is crazy. But yall still cheer he was killed.. and still want guns to be controlled..
Wouldn’t even matter. I’m a Republican who stopped supporting Trump. Regardless, even if I was a Democrat (I have many of their values, or at least old values), wishing death on anyone is wrong, and makes you worse than the person you’re wishing death on. Finally, I’m an Orthodox Christian (catechumen at the moment). My religion is more important than politics.
Wasn’t old enough at the time unfortunately. But yes I would’ve voted for him over Kamala (I was too young to know the bias against Trump during the 2020 election and was rooting for Biden). Of course, while I support some of his actions (like the border and strength), I oppose his war, tariffs, and his relationship to Israel. Most of our government (not sure about Judicial but certainly the other two) are controlled by AIPAC.
So the liability for sexual abuse didn’t deter you, as a christian, from wanting to support him? Or his lawsuit from when he was charged by the FBI for racial discrimination in his properties? That didn’t bother you either, as a christian you could dismiss grown men being accused of shoving their fingers into women’s vaginas without consent and barring black tenants from being on your property due to their race?
You literally JUST replied bruh 😭 No way you’re trying to play games. Obviously as Christians we don’t support sexual abuse. Of course we’ll pray for all of those involved, but they have to face accountability, whether through jail or paying back their victim through civil court.
sorry but that doesn’t make it relevant cuz what trump did is also wrong? two wrongs don’t make a right???? pls tell me the actual relevancy of showing a ss of trump saying something that’s wrong. read what i’m saying WHAT TRUMP DID WAS WRONG ok just so u see it again now what? is all ur saying that its right to be like trump cuz u seem to hate him but u rlly do love using him as an example, and do exactly what he did
u could’ve said a left wing activist i would’ve said the same thing if u were trump i would say the same thing it doesn’t matter u said it even if it’s the exact same words YOU changed them so YOU said them it’s not a matter of who it’s a matter of the idea itself which btw i did speak out against trump and said the same things that it’s not right to be happy about someone’s death there are a minuscule amount of exceptions these are not one of them
if i drive drunk and i get into a car accident i didn’t intend to crash right? i’d still get blamed for crashing doesnt matter ur “intentions” u still said it doesn’t matter if u took someone else’s words to say it doesn’t make it right to say? doesn’t change the fact that u posted it? you changed it enough to make it the meaning and opinion of YOUR post just saying
So let’s get this straight, you were questioning if I was mentally disabled and you tried to make fun of that fact? Even though there’s nothing wrong with anyone who’s unfortunate enough to be in that position. Gross for you to be okay with mocking an entire group of already vulnerable people. I fully support them and their struggles, you bringing them up because I offended you says a lot about your interest in not being divisive lol
Based off the multiple rewrites of the Bible, God didn’t care about even innocent people dying. If you eat animals, I don’t see why you’d have an issue with people dying given the fact that people can be utter monsters, they can and do commit acts against others that are so vile it’d traumatize a normal person just seeing or reading about it. Kirk didn’t deserve a platform, I found his beliefs disgusting and inhumane, I wouldn’t necessarily say he deserved to be shot, but I def do think some ppl
During 2016 elections, I was 12. I was a child and still knew he was bad. I didn’t like Trump based off the disgusting and predatory comments he made towards women/children . Which were public and televised. His qualities are terrible and always have been. Lies, Idiocy, predatory, racist, sexist, the list goes on. He was never a respectable candidate.
I’m asking for clarification on what you believe in reference to this specific thing. That’s the point of the question. You’re saying you don’t want to answer because of perceived strawmanning or bad faith. When I’ve been very clear how it’s not just because you claim it to be. I’m confused on your stance, if you’d like to clarify please do so! For example, if a neo nazi who believes all minorities should be burned alive dies, it’s immoral for me to be happy at his death?
I feel like trump is a different case and i do actually hope he dies because he’s an actual abuser and rapist and is in a position to hurt tons of people. Kirk was a grifting weasel with no morals, but as far as we know was not an abuser or had convictions or allegations. Kirk is someone we just don’t like, and when you start wishing death on people you simply don’t like then you’ve lost the plot. And thats where the majority of people are rn and its part of why everything is so fucked up
He argued that no matter the age or cause (rape even) women should never have an abortion. He even said this applied to his own underage daughter if it were to ever happen. People unfortunately listened to him and this could impact a child’s future. An abortion does not stop someone from having PLANNED kids down the line, or saves women’s lives and prevents kids from being born into a home that doesn’t want them.
The irony that people pick on is that since he got shot and killed there’s not much sympathy because he was against gun control and would tell people it was worth human deaths in order to own a gun. He literally didn’t care about others lives why should people who didn’t know him care about his?
So he is the founder of turning point USA which provides financial support to conservative candidates running in government. Most conservative candidates are against abortion. Ever heard of an ectopic pregnancy? Look it up, it kills. These financial decisions by turning point are also illegal as 501(c)(3) prohibits organizations/charities from political aid in campaigns.
people deserve polarization for supporting pedophilia. OP isn’t pushing the belief that we SHOULD MURDER people that don’t agree with our viewpoints (at this point it’s more of a morality standpoint though) but that doesn’t mean that because we see the President of the United States saying that he’s happy someone is dead, that you can take the same approach in the opposite direction. If anything, Dump was more worried about his big beautiful ballroom than his main dick-rider dying.
Epic red herring and non sequitur. You are assuming tpusa policies caused specific harm. And you still aren’t substantiating the “illegal” funds claim. You aren’t even provided a money trail. I’d be more inclined to believe you if there was any evidence given, yet it’s null and void. And better yet, if they were guilty of the last part you listed, that’s such a pathetic way to be glad someone is dead. Regardless, you should substantiate or not provide discourse you don’t know about
I’m acting in good faith by not engaging in a red herring. I’ll explain how it’s a red herring. You claim your happy Charlie kirk is dead. What’s relevant is what Charlie kirk did. You’re introducing trump being glad someone is dead. Trump is irrelevant to Charlie kirk in this content
You calling it one doesn’t logically make it one. This is the only condition of engaging with me so I’m aware you’re willing to acknowledge and accept the evidence I’ve provided. If you’re not willing to do that, that’s on you. As soon as you do that, we can continue. Truly I don’t know why you intend on acting in bad faith when you’re clearly able to see what a good faith debate can be
