you’re mad cause you got 6th to one person? this feels like crazy copium. it’s not like the other people in the top 4 were people who were born with more than average testosterone . Why didn’t you get better? You can’t outtrain one trans person?

ok so to #1 and 2, should we have a terf league and then a regular peeps league? I went through male puberty, if i took estrogen or hormone blockers right now i bet several hundred women could beat my ass in whatever sport i trained for. I’m in decent shape, with a body that theoretically could be “un fair” but that alone is not winning. it’s also so comically funny that because you don’t like someone and are being prejudiced you think you should dictate their experience in society

this isn’t a woman in sports issue, this is a wimp in sports who can’t get overherself and do training and conditioning to get better instead of focusing on others

Being a trans woman who went through male puberty in female sports is effectively doping and presents an unfair advantage.

Yall want no people who have any testosterone? make your own league. Keep your bigotry out of sports cause you can’t compete. Are there potentially athletes claiming to be trans to win competitions? maybe honestly i’m not locked in enough to know. But honestly most of these women just want to compete in the category they belong in instead of having to compete in the wrong category. A trans woman who is using hormones would be a handicap in men’s sport, y’all’s doping argument has no basis when

Yea not when he beat 4 other women too and how it happened again in California recently. It may fly in high school but College and Olympics aren’t going to tolerate it

The misogyny underlying the one-dimensional pro-trans athlete argument always alarms me. One’s biological precondition is what matters most in fair sport, not their self defined gender identity. There is a lot of nuance here.

WHAT????? dumbasses attempt to keep consistent logic challenge failed once again. Misogyny? So you’re saying trans men should be in the same category as women? They’d be people who went through female puberty and then start pumping them selves with testosterone (it’s more complicated and not simple) which feels almost identical to your argument against trans women. Like ideally we’d have co ed sports and there may be divisions where they are inter gendered and then all “male” all “female” where

where it’s based on hormones. Cause to your “biological precondition” bullshit there is some truth to it because not everyone is born with the same starting conditions. A (theoretical) man may have more estrogen that another or a woman may have more testosterone than another. Does that vastly change their competitiveness? maybe. I think it’s very nuanced and upbringing and access to sports play just as much of an advantage

No. Trans men on T should be free to compete in male or open events, because it counts as doping within female events. My stance is consistent here. As I said, it requires nuance. Not every trans person is the same, nor every sport. The blanket “let people compete as the gender they want to” is absolutely not the best solution we can work out here.

so your single minded focus on trans people and not the inequity of sports is stupid and bigoted. You’re just mad cause your mommy and daddy can’t yell at refs to make you win anymore

And you’re still crying about trans people. 5 years later and all these made up accomplishments and here you are, pretending you’re not still offended but writing entire paragraphs I didn’t bother to read passed the college nationals thing. Say something that isn’t a tantrum

It would be left up to the individual league to decide how to handle the ruling as each sport and league will have different constraints, resources, and athlete populations. So it’s not ultimately up to us to decide how it’s done here. If a league does decide it’s unfair for someone that went through male puberty to compete in a female division, regardless of current hormone treatments, would you accept that league’s ruling and take your own advice to “make your own league”?

Genuine question here… are you intoxicated tonight? You’ve got us mixed up. Scroll up to the top and read through this thread again. #1 was talking about their athletic career, not me.
